Introduction
Zengwenxi flume was completed in November 2013. This facility maintains the water delivery function of the South Main canal of Chianan Canal. In addition to providing irrigation water for about 9,000 hectares of farmland, it also ensures stable water delivery in Tainan, including uninterrupted daily household use of water and industry water for 1.5 million people. In addition to taking into account the needs of river flood control, the bridge design incorporates a local ecological feature - a pheasant shape element - creating an environment concept with "an historical trajectory, cultural landscape and ecological focus."
