Introduction
The Wushanling Diversion Tunnel is connected to Zengwen Reservoir and Wushantou Reservoir to supply water for daily life, industry and agriculture in the Chianan area. After the completion of the new tunnel, the original water flow of 56 cms can be restored, stabilizing the supply of agricultural water to more than 60,000 hectares in the Chianan area, public water supply for 2.5 million people and industrial water supply in Southern Taiwan Science Park. It also improves the stability of regional water source regulation with the old tunnel used as a backup system.
