Introduction
Zhiben Canal is located in the alluvial plain between Lijia River and Zhiben River. Its water intake is located near the Zhiben Hot Spring Bridge on the north bank of Zhiben River, adjacent to the famous Zhiben Hot Spring. The hot springs in this area are colorless and odorless alkaline carbonated springs. This landscaping greenery project covers an area of about 1.4 hectares. The water inlet of the canal was originally built during the era of Japanese rule. Before the left bank embankment was improved, it was disorganized and desolate, which contrasted sharply with the beauty of the tourist hotels on the opposite bank. After beautification efforts and in conjunction with natural ecological engineering methods, visitors can feel the nostalgia when they visit.
