Introduction
Maoxingdian Canal is located in Yuguzhuang village, northwest of Sanzhi District, close to Taiwan Provincial Highway No.2. Gende Arch Bridge and Balian River Leisure Trail are nearby. The main crop is water bamboo shoots. The water source is taken from Balian River. In recent years, the old and damaged canal and water infiltration seriously impacted farmers' cultivation work, so the workstation renovated and improved irrigation constructions to enhance the curve of the existing site, which is winding and beautiful, with smooth water flow, in an effort to create a construction landscape environment that satisfied the irrigation needs of farmers, gave residents leisure space and facilitated more efficient irrigation management and implement the three vital functions in one project, which received the excellent achievement in agricultural construction award from the Ministry of Agriculture.
