Introduction
Located in Lane 196, Zhoumei Street, Beitou District, Taipei City, the Zhoumei Jiufengou Canal was originally a cluttered and foul-smelling soil ditch. After taking conserving environment ecology and biological habitat into account, it was developed into an ecological canal. The surrounding bamboo forests are ingeniously integrated and there is also a connecting wooden walkway at the end. The surrounding farmland scenery is unobstructed, creating a comfortable and natural atmosphere for sightseeing, appreciated by local people and cyclists alike.
